Manager/ Sr. Manager- Sustainability (ESG & EPR)

Responsibilities:

1)      Project Execution, Operations: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex consulting projects in the areas of EPR and ESG. Ensure projects are executed at the required standards and within established timelines. Streamline, simplify and optimize project delivery processes for increased efficiency. Managing the P&L for the project’s operations ensures the target Margin% is achieved and improved.

2)      Business Development: Actively participate in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and driving the growth of the Sustainability practice. Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand service offerings.

3)      Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performance team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.

4)      Process Improvement: Build scalable and simplified processes for project delivery and operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

5)      Solution Building: Work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and develop tailored solutions. Lead the development of innovative and sustainable solutions to address client needs.

6)      Client Engagement and Advisory: Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are not only met but exceeded. Provide expert advisory services related to Sustainability, EPR, and ESG. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Sustainability, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in sustainability management, preferably in a consulting or corporate environment.

• Proven track record of working on sustainability projects, with expertise in reporting, climate risk assessment, and ESG integration.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in client engagement and pitching sustainability initiatives.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and motivating cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards for sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and environmental certifications (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001).

• Prior experience working in Big 4 consulting firms or similar large-scale organizations is highly desirable.

• Passion for environmental stewardship and a commitment to driving positive change through sustainable business practices.
